The symposium organizers assume no liability for accidents or damages to personal property of the participants. With the registration the participant confirms that he can assert no claims against the organizers and hosts, except in cases of intention or coarse carelessness.
The participant recognises also, that he will not claim for damages for the cancellation of the workshops or symposium or program elements in cases of political or economic events, force majeure, nonappearance of invited speakers or other necessary program modifications.
Submitting your abstract, paper or poster does not mean free admittance to the symposium. Both registration and payment are still due.
By sending in an abstract or any other contribution the author:
- Grants the copyrights to the Resilience Engineering Association and agrees upon publishing the abstract and/or paper by the Resilience Engineering Association by any means e.g. pre and post symposium proceedings and the REA-websites. Content of the publications may be downloaded and shared with others as long as the authors and publisher are mentioned and the download is linked back to the Resilience Engineering Association and the authors. It is not allowed to change any part of the publication or use the download and copies commercially.
- Declares that content, graphs and pictures used in his abstract/paper/poster are free of copyright.
